What is Relationship Mediation?
Relationship mediation is a unique service for all committed partners that are experiencing relationship challenges. Partners can seek support to strengthen their relationship with guidance from an experienced mediator.
All relationships have their ups and downs, this is unavoidable. But the question remains when partners identify that they need help, where do they go? Is couples therapy the only option? The answer to that is no.
Relationship mediation is for people in intimate relationships that want to work together as a team to improve their communication and wellbeing, regardless of age, gender, or marital status.

Couples are encouraged to:

- Revise and review; try something new
- Realign your relationship compass.
Relationship mediation is for people that are ready to grow.
Relationship mediation aims to create a space for partners to have those, sometimes complex, discussions needed to strengthen their connection in new ways.
What happens during a mediation session?
Mediation is facilitated in a step-by-step process, aimed to support the participants to have focused and structured discussions, without getting off track and missing important points.
It might look something like this:
Introduction by the Mediator
The mediator introduces themselves and discusses the guidelines for the session.
Participants Opening Statements
The participants get the opportunity to speak to one another about what is important to them about attending mediation.
Reflection and Discussion Points
The participants explore what is happening for them and what they would like to discuss. This helps us focus on what we want to achieve and the possible solutions.
The participants explore ways to manage each discussion topic and how they would like to move forward. Options are created to set a template for mutual well-being.
The participants explore the options on the table and attempt to find a path that both people believe will realign their relationship compass.
The participants take their agreements or tasks home to practice. A follow-up or review session is useful to see what went well and adjust anything that didn’t.
